Does any of this sound familiar?

Feeling low for longer than you’d like, and struggling to find your way forward?

Wondering if you’ll ever come through this grief?

Are things from your past still affecting how you feel or cope today?

Do you feel stuck in relationship patterns that are difficult to change?

Perhaps you simply don’t feel like yourself anymore, but aren’t sure why.

Meet your counsellor

Hi, I’m Nicola.

I’m an approachable and compassionate counsellor with over 20 years’ experience supporting people through anxiety, stress, life transitions, relationship difficulties and other challenging times. I believe that being genuinely heard and understood can be the beginning of meaningful change.

I don’t believe counselling should be one-size-fits-all. I integrate different therapeutic approaches to offer an approach that fits you, your circumstances and what you hope to achieve from therapy. We’ll work together to understand where you are now, what you want to change and how you can move towards a more fulfilling life.

I work integratively, with a person-centred foundation, drawing on approaches such as Solution-Focused Brief Therapy and CBT-informed approaches according to your needs. Together, we’ll explore what you hope to be different and find ways forward that feel right for you.

I offer in-person counselling and psychotherapy in Portsmouth and Southsea, as well as online therapy, giving you the flexibility to choose what works best for you.
