Sleep

Insomnia is often a side effect of other problems being experienced, or maybe it’s a standalone issue in its own right. So how much sleep is enough? This differs person to person and our sleep patterns also differ greatly. For example, some of us are naturally ‘larks’ – go to bed early and wake early, and some ‘owls’ – go to bed late and preferably lie in bed later. Knowing how much we need / want, examining our sleep patterns is called ‘sleep hygiene’, and learning appropriate relaxation can help you feel refreshed and energised.
